Black Squirrel Yarns is turning 10! We feel all grown up now! We will be celebrating all weekend November 7th and 8th. It has been a wonderful ride so far and we can't wait to celebrate with you all in person and online.
This year we are celebrating small in a big way. Our theme is Homegrown, defined as yarn and fiber grown and processed in North America and also by celebrating all the small businesses that bring us big joy.
The celebration of Homegrown yarns is a kick off to a new emphasis in the shop. Watch for more yarns from Jill Draper, yarn from Julie Asselin, and more. Do you have a favorite yarn or fiber that is all North American (sheep to skein as Jill Draper says)? Let us know!

There will be a 15% discount on everything in the store including sale items. Online orders will get the anniversary sale price automatically in the cart, no code is required. Locals can also order online and chose the pick up option before going to the checkout screen.

Aran and DK weights of Peace Fleece have returned to our shop!
