The Addison Street Cowl by Maia Discoe is a simple one-color brioche cowl that adds warmth and style to an outfit. The soft, luxurious, and cozy yarn makes it delightful to wear. The perfect project for a quick gift. It is also the ideal project for your first one-color brioche pattern. It looks more difficult than it is.
The cowl uses Aran weight Harmony, a deliciously soft color changing alpaca yarn with a chainette yarn construction. The cowl is fairly tall allowing it to be pulled up to cover your ears when the weather is cold. It uses size US8 & US11 needles.
Cowl measures 28 inches /71 cm in circumference and 12 inches / 30 cm tall.

Maia Discoe grew up in a family of knitters and learned to knit as a child. Growing up without access to patterns or tutorials, she became accustomed to creating her own patterns. She is a former structural engineer who uses her knowledge of knitting and structure to engineer knitwear for all skill levels. She is also a spinner and natural dyer. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two dogs and co-owns Black Squirrel Yarns, a local yarn store in Berkeley, California.
