We love a fluffy lace weight yarn! This one is made with lovely Suri alpaca fiber. This lace weight yarn has a halo of super soft and fine Suri alpaca. It is wonderful when held with something plain to add a really great texture. You can of course make gossamer lace pieces with it by itself. We also recommend holding it with a fingering or DK weight yarn in either a similar or contrasting color to add a layer of fluff to your garments.
In the US just 10-20% of all alpacas are Suris and even less in the rest of the world. Their fiber is luxurious with a silky luster and is similar to mohair from Angora goats. However, it is hypoallergenic making it a great alternative for people allergic to mohair
