When our friend Ivy asked if we want to offer unique and reusable gifts bags, we were very excited! What is better than something handmade to wrap a gift? A reusable gift bag saves small pieces of fabric from ending up in a landfill while also avoiding gift wrap waste. Plus simple wrapping to make a classy and effortless presentation. It is a win-win-win! Ivy makes these bags from holiday fabrics she has acquired in her travels.
They are all unique. We have two sizes and the sizes vary a bit.
Small: 5.5 - 6 inches wide x 6.5 - 8 inches tall, no gusset, usually the same fabric on each side. A great size for small notions.
Large: 7.5 - 8 inches wide x 12 inches tall with a 3.5 - 4 inch gusset. The large bags have two different coordinating fabrics. You can see the second fabric where the bottom gusset is turned up. A great size for larger tools like an interchangeable needle set or up to 6 skeins of yarn depending on skein size.
Note that the height measurement is not to the bottom of the drawstring so an item 12 inches long will not be fully covered by a bag that is 12 inches tall. If a bag has gussets, it is noted in the title and dimensions of the gusset are given. Tapestry needle is for scale and is not included with the gift bags.
