Niddy Noddies are so handy. Spinners use them to wind their handspun into hanks. Knitters and crocheters can use them to wind frogged yarn into hanks. The ramen-like texture can affect your your gauge.
We carry two sizes: 1 yard and 2 yards, referring to the circumference of the hank after it is wound. This allows you to easily determine the length of your yarn. Say you wrap around a 2 yard niddy noddy 50 times: 50 wraps multiplied by 2 yards per wrap equals 100 yards. You can count as you wrap or count the number of wraps after you are finished and the hank is tied off.
The 1 yard size is good for smaller hanks; ideal for spindle spinners or for traveling. The 2 yard size is great for 100g or 4 oz and up. Both sizes feature a maple cross beam with birch ends and can be taken apart to be stored more compactly.
