Halo Brushed Alpaca is spun of 55% Baby Alpaca and 45% Suri Alpaca making this yarn next to skin soft. You can use it held with other yarns or on its own. It is a great soft alternative to Silk Mohair. Like most of the world's alpaca fibers, these originate from Peru. The yarn is spun locally at a family owned and Fair Trade certified mill, ensuring good conditions for animals, people and the environment.
