This yarn is so plump and delicious! It will knit beautifully at a sport gauge or squish down to a heavy fingering gauge. You get the added warmth, drape, and slight halo of an alpaca yarn with the things we love about merino yarn. It's perfect for sweaters, shawls, and socks.

The Wandering Flock is the creation of knitwear designer and hand dyer Geraldine Yang of Brooklyn New York. She and her crew dye colors that are sweet and exquisite; perfection in skein form. Known for her pastels, she also dyes luscious saturated tonals. Whichever colors you pick, you will love the richness and attention to detail in every skein.
Please note:
We make every effort to accurately represent the colors of our yarns, but differences in screen settings may make them appear slightly different in person. We recommend viewing these images with your screen brightness all the way up for the most accurate colors.
All yarns labeled "Superwash" are machine washable on the gentle cycle with cool water, and lay flat to dry. But it is always recommended that you hand wash your finished pieces to extend their life and beauty. There may be some slight color wash-out for your yarns first wash, this is normal with any saturated colors. If you have combined colors that may bleed into each other, be sure to use a cold soak and a Shout Color Catcher sheet if needed, they work great!
