Mike Laird, the illustrator and designer behind Malartkey, lives just a few blocks from our shop and is the yarn-enabler-in-residence of one of our favorite friends. His adorable illustrations make for amazing enamel pins all on their own, but the thing we really love about them is that each is themed for a different facet of mental health and self-acceptance, and his art helps to raise awareness and promote neurodiversity. ( P.S. I'm definitely the Woolflower and Hibearnate!)
Destroyer of Worlds: One of our favorite Eldrich Gods, now portrayed with his heart on his sleeve. Great for someone who wants to see the other side of horror.
The text printed on the back of the card reads: "Self-acceptance can be hard, but everybody has value, including you. Always try your best, don't worry over the things you can't change, and be kind to yourself every day."
- Black nickel plated hard enamel pin.
- Approximately 1.1" tall.
- One post with a teal rubber back.
*Please note: Colors of enamel may differ from your monitor. Photo has been photoshopped to remove any dust and debris from the pin. As metal and glossy surfaces are difficult to photograph, color contrast may appear slightly different in person.
