Mike Laird, the illustrator and designer behind Malartkey, lives just a few blocks from our shop and is the yarn-enabler-in-residence of one of our favorite friends. His adorable illustrations make for amazing enamel pins all on their own, but the thing we really love about them is that each is themed for a different facet of mental health and self-acceptance, and his art helps to raise awareness and promote neurodiversity. ( P.S. I'm definitely the Woolflower and Hibearnate!)
Woolflower: Sometimes it can be tough to put yourself out there, but you'll tough it out for friends! This little one has wrapped up in knitted apparel for comfort, and hopes to provide you comfort as well.
The text printed on the back of the card reads: "It's okay to feel anxious. Understanding who you are and recognizing the situations that drain or recharge you can help you become more comfortable with yourself."
- Rose gold-tone plated hard enamel pin.
- Approximately 1.3" wide.
- Two posts with red rubber backs.
*Please note: Colors of enamel may differ from your monitor. Photo has been photoshopped to remove any dust and debris from the pin. As metal and glossy surfaces are difficult to photograph, color contrast may appear slightly different in person.
