Always wanted to learn to knit? Already know how but need a refresher course? Want to switch from English style to Continental? Then come learn with us! Click here to reserve your spot and get more information.
No prior experience with knitting is required to join in our two-hour basic class. You'll learn the basics of casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off. You can either bring yarn and needles from home (we recommend a light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 6-8 straight or circular needles), or you can purchase them from our shop with a 10% discount.
Our beginning classes are unique because they're priced on a sliding scale - the initial $10 is all you need to join. After you take the class, depending on your satisfaction level and ability to pay more, we ask that you contribute up to $25, but it's not an obligation. Our goal is to encourage everyone to learn a new skill, and we want to provide an inviting and affordable environment in which to do so.
We also like to keep our classes small so you can receive individual attention, so be sure to book quickly to reserve your spot!
