If you are looking to add just a touch of warmth to your projects, Mohair is a great choice and if you pair the colors just right, you will find the most unique marled fabric. From texture, airiness, and depth of color, this is the base you never knew you needed but won’t be able to live without! The Mohair for this base is sourced in South Africa, from a bio-diversity-friendly, clean and ethically compliant mill.

It is great for lace, shawls, scarves, lightweight garments. Works well double-stranded for accessories, garments, color-work, and when combined with other yarns!

*Hand wash or machine wash gentle & cool, lay flat to dry - be sure to wash, dry, or block your swatch the same as you will the finished garment.

*Please note:

- We make every effort to accurately represent the colors of our yarns, but differences in screen settings may make them appear slightly different in person.

- As Malabrigo's yarns are hand-dyed in a manner for mass-production, colors may vary from skein to skein, even within the same dye lot. This is increased for variegated colors. Make sure to get enough yarn for your project and we will do our best to check that the skeins you receive visually match. To ensure random color distribution we recommend that you alternate for at least a few rows when joining a new skein, but alternating throughout an entire project will yield the most even results.

- Additionally there are specific colorways that do not have dye lots. For these highly variegated yarns the absorption of the dye can vary even within the same batch meaning that every skein can be very different. All of those colors which are aquarella (such as Aniversario, Archangel, Piedras, Etcetera) or speckled do not have a dye lot.
